Robert F. Barron, Jr.

Since 2005, Bob Barron has provided real estate services to various groups, including development management of two major commercial developments for a private equity fund and consulting with several community housing groups on the Gulf coast post Katrina for Enterprise Community Partners.

Prior to 2005, Bob served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Real Estate Services, Inc., having served as President and Chief Operating Officer of its affiliate, The Enterprise Development Company since 1988 and Chief Financial Officer since 1981. With Enterprise, Bob had overall responsibility for development, consulting services and new business activities in the United States and overseas. He directed Enterprise’s property operations in its completed projects and the conceptualization and management of Enterprise’s role in new projects in the U.S., Japan, Europe, The Middle East and Mexico. In total Bob has been involved in over 120 projects valued at $6 billion.

 

Prior to joining Enterprise in 1981, Bob was Vice President-Finance and Treasurer of Display Data Corporation, a national microcomputer systems company. Before that, he was Assistant Corporate Controller of The Rouse Company, where he was involved in the controllership activities of the corporate, commercial development, operating property and mortgage banking divisions. He also worked for the international accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand.

Bob holds a BS, Accounting from the University of Maryland and a MBA in Finance from Loyola College. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, The International Council of Shopping Centers, the America Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. Bob resides in Timonium, Maryland.
